The visit of H.E SEFOPE is a follow up to the bilateral negociations by the Embassy of Timor-Leste in Viet Nam through the Diplomatic Efforts of HE. Ambassador of Timor-Leste to Viet Nam, Mr. João Pereira with the Government of Viet Nam as part of the bilateral cooperations framework Following Timor-Leste's accession to ASEAN October 2025.

The agenda of the visit includes meeting with the Ministry of Home Affairs Viet Nam that has the portfolio on laboural mobility, meeting with Ministry of Education and Training Viet Nam that hold the portfolio of Vocational Training in Viet Nam, Meeting the Leaders of Bac Ninh Province that has over 2000 industrial companies and that will offer the training and job opportunities to Timorese and and an important agenda of directly engage in technical discussions with the Bach Ninh Province Companies in the area of Technological Agriculture, Fisheries and aquatic lifestock and Garment.

The result of the visit of H.E Secretary of State SEFOPE and HE Ambassador of Timor-Leste to Viet Nam and the Delegation will produce a Report for further elaboration into Bilateral Agreement between Timor-Leste and Viet Nam for Training and Employment of Timorese Youth at the Industrial Companies in Bach Ninh province, Viet Nam.
