Malásia, 12–14 de maio de 2026: O Ministério do Ensino Superior, Ciência e Cultura (MESSK), através do Diretor-Geral do Ensino Superior e Ciência, Sr. Domingos Barros, acompanhado pelo Presidente do Instituto Politécnico de Timor-Leste e por representantes do setor privado timorense, participou no seminário internacional “𝐂𝐥𝐨𝐬𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐆𝐚𝐩 𝐖𝐨𝐫𝐤𝐬𝐡𝐨𝐩 𝟐𝟎𝟐𝟔”, subordinado ao tema “𝐀𝐧𝐜𝐡𝐨𝐫𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐖𝐨𝐫𝐤𝐟𝐨𝐫𝐜𝐞 𝐑𝐞𝐚𝐝𝐢𝐧𝐞𝐬𝐬 𝐂𝐨𝐥𝐥𝐚𝐛𝐨𝐫𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐏𝐚𝐫𝐭𝐧𝐞𝐫𝐬𝐡𝐢𝐩”, realizado em Penang, Malásia.

O evento foi organizado pelo Ministério do Ensino Superior da Malásia, com o apoio do programa EU-ASEAN Sustainable Connectivity Package – Higher Education (SCOPE-HE).

O principal objetivo deste programa é reforçar a cooperação entre as instituições de ensino superior e os centros de formação técnico-profissional (TVET), promovendo o fortalecimento das capacidades institucionais e a transferência de conhecimentos académicos e técnicos. A iniciativa visa ainda preparar melhor os estudantes e graduados universitários, combinando conhecimentos académicos com competências práticas e profissionais, de modo a facilitar a obtenção de certificações profissionais e aumentar as oportunidades de inserção no mercado de trabalho.

Malaysia, May 12–14, 2026: The Ministry of Higher Education, Science, and Culture (MHESC), represented by the Director-General of Higher Education and Science, Mr. Domingos Barros, accompanied by the President of the Polytechnic Institute of Timor-Leste and representatives from the Timorese private sector, participated in the international seminar “𝐂𝐥𝐨𝐬𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐆𝐚𝐩 𝐖𝐨𝐫𝐤𝐬𝐡𝐨𝐩 𝟐𝟎𝟐𝟔,” held under the theme “𝐀𝐧𝐜𝐡𝐨𝐫𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐖𝐨𝐫𝐤𝐟𝐨𝐫𝐜𝐞 𝐑𝐞𝐚𝐝𝐢𝐧𝐞𝐬𝐬 𝐂𝐨𝐥𝐥𝐚𝐛𝐨𝐫𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐏𝐚𝐫𝐭𝐧𝐞𝐫𝐬𝐡𝐢𝐩” in Penang, Malaysia.

The event was organized by the Malaysian Ministry of Higher Education, with support from the EU-ASEAN Sustainable Connectivity Package – Higher Education (SCOPE-HE) program.

The main objective of the program is to strengthen cooperation between higher education institutions and technical and vocational education and training (TVET) centers by promoting institutional capacity building and the transfer of academic and technical knowledge. The initiative also aims to better prepare university students and graduates by combining academic knowledge with practical and professional skills, thereby facilitating the attainment of professional certifications and increasing opportunities for entry into the labor market.
