𝐃𝐢́𝐥𝐢, 𝟏𝟒 𝐝𝐞 𝐚𝐠𝐨𝐬𝐭𝐨 𝐝𝐞 𝟐𝟎𝟐𝟔

O Vice-Ministro do Comércio e Indústria, S.E. Augusto Júnior Trindade, realizou uma reunião com a Adjunta do Chefe da Casa Civil da Presidência da República, Sra. Graziela Fátima Liu Soares, juntamente com o Chefe de Gabinete do Vice-Ministro, o Diretor-Geral das Cooperativas do MCI, Diretores Nacionais e técnicos da Presidência da República e do Ministério do Comércio e Indústria (MCI), no Gabinete do Vice-Ministro, em Fomento Mandarin, Díli.

A reunião teve como objetivo discutir os preparativos para o Science for Development Summit, que será organizado pela Presidência da República.

O evento contará com a participação de convidados internacionais, incluindo laureados com o Prémio Nobel, cientistas de reputação internacional, académicos e líderes internacionais.

A Presidência da República pretende envolver o MCI nesta iniciativa, nomeadamente através da preparação de um espaço de exposição (expo), que constituirá uma oportunidade para apresentar e promover os produtos, potencialidades e oportunidades económicas de Timor-Leste junto dos convidados internacionais e da comunidade internacional.

A coordenação entre a Presidência da República e o MCI é importante para assegurar uma boa preparação e contribuir para o esforço conjunto de promoção de Timor-Leste a nível

internacional.

The Vice Minister of Commerce and Industry, H.E. Augusto Júnior Trindade, held a meeting with the Deputy Chief of Staff of the Office of the President of the Republic, Ms. Graziela Fátima Liu Soares, together with the Vice Minister’s Chief of Staff, the Director-General for Cooperatives of MCI, National Directors, and technical officials from the Presidency of the Republic and the Ministry of Commerce and Industry (MCI), at the Vice Minister’s Office in Fomento Mandarin, Dili.

The meeting focused on preparations for the Science for Development Summit, which will be organized by the Presidency of the Republic.

The event will bring together international guests, including Nobel laureates, internationally renowned scientists, academics, and international leaders.

The Presidency of the Republic intends to involve MCI in the event, particularly through the preparation of an exhibition space, which will provide an opportunity to showcase and promote Timor-Leste’s products, economic potential, and investment opportunities to international guests and the wider international community.

Coordination between the Presidency of the Republic and MCI is important to ensure effective preparations and contribute to joint efforts to promote Timor-Leste internationally.
