Inisiativa ne'e mos sai nu'udar plataforma importante atu hametin kooperasaun entre instituisaun ensinu superiór, komunidade sientífika, governu, setór privadu no parseiru dezenvolvimentu, liu-liu iha esforsu hamutuk atu dezenvolve solusaun bazeia-ba koñesimentu no rezultadu peskiza ne'ebé bele fó benefísiu ba sosiedade.

Durante atividade ne'e, sei realiza diversas atividade, inklui 𝐬𝐞𝐦𝐢𝐧á𝐫𝐢𝐮, 𝐚𝐩𝐫𝐞𝐳𝐞𝐧𝐭𝐚𝐬𝐚𝐮𝐧 𝐫𝐞𝐳𝐮𝐥𝐭𝐚𝐝𝐮 𝐩𝐞𝐬𝐤𝐢𝐳𝐚, 𝐝𝐢𝐬𝐤𝐮𝐬𝐚𝐮𝐧 𝐩𝐚𝐧𝐞𝐥 no 𝐞𝐳𝐩𝐨𝐳𝐢𝐬𝐚𝐮𝐧 ne'ebé envolve Instituisaun Ensinu Superiór Públiku no Privadu sira iha Timor-Leste.

Díli, 23 de agosto de 2026 — O Ministério do Ensino Superior, Ciência e Cultura (MESCC) realizou oficialmente a abertura das comemorações do 𝐃𝐢𝐚 𝐍𝐚𝐜𝐢𝐨𝐧𝐚𝐥 𝐝𝐨 𝐄𝐧𝐬𝐢𝐧𝐨 𝐒𝐮𝐩𝐞𝐫𝐢𝐨𝐫 e 𝐝𝐨 𝐃𝐢𝐚 𝐌𝐮𝐧𝐝𝐢𝐚𝐥 𝐝𝐚 𝐂𝐢ê𝐧𝐜𝐢𝐚 𝐩𝐚𝐫𝐚 𝐚 𝐏𝐚𝐳 𝐞 𝐨 𝐃𝐞𝐬𝐞𝐧𝐯𝐨𝐥𝐯𝐢𝐦𝐞𝐧𝐭𝐨, no Centro de Convenções de Díli (CCD).

As comemorações decorreram no âmbito da abertura da 𝐒𝐜𝐢𝐞𝐧𝐜𝐞 𝐟𝐨𝐫 𝐃𝐞𝐯𝐞𝐥𝐨𝐩𝐦𝐞𝐧𝐭 𝐒𝐮𝐦𝐦𝐢𝐭 𝟐𝟎𝟐𝟔, com o objetivo de valorizar e promover o papel estratégico do ensino superior e da ciência na promoção da paz, do desenvolvimento e da inovação sustentável em Timor-Leste.

Esta iniciativa constitui igualmente uma importante plataforma para reforçar a cooperação entre as instituições de ensino superior, a comunidade científica, o Governo, o setor privado e os parceiros de desenvolvimento, particularmente no esforço conjunto para desenvolver soluções baseadas no conhecimento e nos resultados da investigação científica, com impacto positivo na sociedade.

No âmbito desta atividade, serão realizadas diversas atividades, incluindo 𝐬𝐞𝐦𝐢𝐧á𝐫𝐢𝐨𝐬, 𝐚𝐩𝐫𝐞𝐬𝐞𝐧𝐭𝐚çõ𝐞𝐬 𝐝𝐞 𝐫𝐞𝐬𝐮𝐥𝐭𝐚𝐝𝐨𝐬 𝐝𝐞 𝐢𝐧𝐯𝐞𝐬𝐭𝐢𝐠𝐚çã𝐨, 𝐝𝐞𝐛𝐚𝐭𝐞𝐬 𝐞𝐦 𝐩𝐚𝐢𝐧𝐞𝐥 e 𝐞𝐱𝐩𝐨𝐬𝐢çõ𝐞𝐬, com a participação das instituições de ensino superior públicas e privadas de Timor-Leste.

Estas atividades proporcionam uma oportunidade para académicos, investigadores, estudantes e demais intervenientes partilharem conhecimentos, experiências e resultados de investigação, bem como reforçarem o diálogo sobre o contributo do ensino superior e da ciência para o desenvolvimento nacional.

Díli, August 23, 2026 — The Ministry of Higher Education, Science, and Culture (MHESC) officially opened the celebrations for 𝐍𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧𝐚𝐥 𝐇𝐢𝐠𝐡𝐞𝐫 𝐄𝐝𝐮𝐜𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧 𝐃𝐚�� and 𝐖𝐨𝐫𝐥𝐝 𝐒𝐜𝐢𝐞𝐧𝐜𝐞 𝐃𝐚𝐲 𝐟𝐨𝐫 𝐏𝐞𝐚𝐜𝐞 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐃𝐞𝐯𝐞𝐥𝐨𝐩𝐦𝐞𝐧𝐭 at the Díli Convention Center (CCD).

The celebrations were held as part of the opening of the 𝐒𝐜𝐢𝐞𝐧𝐜𝐞 𝐟𝐨𝐫 𝐃𝐞𝐯𝐞𝐥𝐨𝐩𝐦𝐞𝐧𝐭 𝐒𝐮𝐦𝐦𝐢𝐭 𝟐𝟎𝟐𝟔, with the aim of highlighting and promoting the strategic role of higher education and science in advancing peace, development, and sustainable innovation in Timor-Leste.

The initiative also serves as an important platform for strengthening cooperation among higher education institutions, the scientific community, government, the private sector, and development partners, particularly through joint efforts to develop knowledge-based solutions and apply scientific research to address societal challenges.

As part of the celebrations, a variety of activities will be held, 𝐢𝐧𝐜𝐥𝐮𝐝𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐬𝐞𝐦𝐢𝐧𝐚𝐫𝐬, 𝐫𝐞𝐬𝐞𝐚𝐫𝐜𝐡 𝐩𝐫𝐞𝐬𝐞𝐧𝐭𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧𝐬, 𝐩𝐚𝐧𝐞𝐥 𝐝𝐢𝐬𝐜𝐮𝐬𝐬𝐢𝐨𝐧𝐬, and 𝐞𝐱𝐡𝐢𝐛𝐢𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧𝐬, with the participation of public and private higher education institutions in Timor-Leste.

These activities provide an opportunity for academics, researchers, students, and other stakeholders to share knowledge, experiences, and research findings, while strengthening dialogue on the contribution of higher education and science to national development.
