Sua Excelência o Vice-Ministro do Comércio e Indústria, Sr. Augusto Júnior Trindade, recebeu uma visita de cortesia do Embaixador de Timor-Leste da Malásia, Sr. Lisualdu Gaspar, no Gabinete do Vice-Ministro, em Fomento Mandarin, Díli, esta sexta-feira, 21/11/2025.

O objetivo da visita foi trocar cumprimentos e atualizar informações sobre os serviços de relações comerciais e industriais que o Embaixador tem vindo a prestar na Malásia.

O Embaixador informou que os investidores têm grande interesse em investir em Timor-Leste, especialmente após a adesão do país à ASEAN. Por isso, é necessário harmonizar as bases legais para facilitar o investimento no país.

O Embaixador expressou ainda a sua gratidão ao Vice-Ministro do Comércio e Indústria por liderar o SEOM Timor-Leste, participando ativamente na reunião que culminou na adesão do país à ASEAN no mês passado.

O Vice-Ministro agradeceu ainda o trabalho do Embaixador, que cooperou eficazmente na reunião da ASEAN na Malásia.

His Excellency the Vice Minister of Commerce and Industry, Mr. Augusto Júnior Trindade, received a courtesy visit from the Ambassador of Timor-Leste of Malaysia, Mr. Lisualdu Gaspar, at the Office of the Vice Minister, in Fomento Mandarin, Dili, this Friday, 21/11/2025.

The purpose of the visit was to exchange greetings and update information on the trade and industrial relations services that the Ambassador has been providing in Malaysia.

The Ambassador informed that investors have a great interest in investing in Timor-Leste, especially after the country's accession to ASEAN. Therefore, it is necessary to harmonize the legal bases to facilitate investment in the country.

The Ambassador also expressed his gratitude to the Vice Minister of Commerce and Industry for leading SEOM Timor-Leste, actively participating in the meeting that culminated in the country's accession to ASEAN last month.

The Vice Minister also thanked the work of the Ambassador, who cooperated effectively at the ASEAN meeting in Malaysia.
